A thousand years ago, the Human kingdoms of the West were unified under one ruler. At its zenith, the Western Kingdoms were ruled by the powerful Dynasty of the Twilight, known more commonly as the Dusk Dynasty. The bloodthirsty King Cangli cast a shadow of terror across the land, and the Allied Wingkin armies faced them in a bloody war. At the height of the war, the Dusk Kingdom vanished, taking with it the two warring armies, and all of its inhabitants. No one knows what actually happened, and even the tales of the legendary Dynasty faded into the annals of history.
